He tries to toughen Sans up in the harsh world of Underfell. However, He does love his brother even though he doesn't show it. He does yell at Sans and they fight a lot. Like Sans, he tries to be cool and collect. He does seem to refrain from killing unless it is a Necessity, although that is more than his UnderTale counterpart (As classic Papyrus will not kill in any cases). He claims to try to toughen Sans up in the harsh world of Underfell. He does seem morally fine with treating others brutally, although he shows visible remorse when he does anything too far (Example: Torture, Manipulation, Fear-Mongering, Etc.) The only person he shows any sort of bond, even weak, with is his brother Sans, and the head of the Royal Guard, Undyne.
He does seem to take threats very seriously, so he isn't insulted commonly in Public, the insults end up going towards Sans instead, as he is more controlled. He will also kill anyone who threatens him or Sans directly while being sober. Papyrus is a Lethal And uncontrolled Royal Guard commander and he cares little about the well-being of other monsters, and will not hesitate to slaughter anyone just to set an example. He wears a red cape, a pointed black battle body with a golden symbol on the left, long red gloves, black trousers with a red/yellow wrestle mania belt (made after he beat Undyne) and red heels with 3 black stripes (Given by Alphys). He has a scar running from his right eye and sharp teeth (some FanArt shows him having glowing red pupils). Papyrus has semi-closed eyes and sharp teeth. He is about 3 inches taller, at 6' 4", with a good posture and bleached white bones. The quarantine causes everything of Underfell that was extracted into XTale to dissipate, as with the Underswap characters.ĭue to the quarantine efforts by XAlphys and XGaster, this and Underswap are the only two universes not to be destroyed by Error!Sans.Fell Papyrus shares many physical similarities to his UnderTale counterpart. Core!Frisk would soon be the subject to witness XAlphys' ordering of XTale!Mettaton's purge of the Underfell inhabitants, including a dissentious King Asgore. This includes the already effected Pacifist Timeline that Cross slipped into. He asks his assistant, XAlphys, to place any timelines affected by the X-Event to be quarantined. Once the three know he's going to Underswap, the three leave the universe in pursuit of Cross.Ĭross' mess with Underfell did not go unnoticed with XGaster. After Ink leaves the eyes of Error, the three of them awaited as Dream!Sans spies on Cross' next move.

Classic!Sans runs off as soon as the Underfell casts swarmed in, and Sans pursues him after realizing his brother, Papyrus, caught wind of his actions from one of Alphys' cameras.Ĭlassic!Sans, while taking a break in the middle of a echo flower field, gets an advice from Core!Frisk on how to take out Cross. Sans accuses Ink of deliberating destroying his Snowdin, but their arguments are cut short when Error!Sans steals Ink away. With the battle now over, the three look around to see an empty Snowdin. Unbeknownst that Cross had already taken half of Classic!Sans' soul, Sans nearly obviates Cross, who manages to flee thanks to X-Event!Chara. This leaves Cross in a state of inability to continue pursuing the two, and with some distraction by Sans with his pink slipper, it leaves plenty of time for Sans to be freed of Cross' control, and strike revenge against Cross. While in the midst of their brawl, Snowdin is entirely taken from Underfell, being implemented in the then-empty XTale.Ībruptly, after trapping the infected Sans, Classic!Sans confronts Cross over the premise of XTale, the powers of the X-Event, and XGaster. As soon as Cross notices their appearance and their refusal to accept Underfell as his own world, Cross infects Sans and forces him to fight the two together. Ink and Classic!Sans arrive to witness the destruction that Cross had forced upon Snowdin. Cross gains the upper hand thanks to X-Event!Chara's X-Event ability, and is nearly successful in killing Sans. This gains the attention of Sans, who berates Cross for his foolish plot and tries to defend Snowdin as much as possible.
This involves marking any corners around Snowdin with an X, making the inhabitants anguish and annoyed.
Explaining the premise of this alternate universe, Nightmare tells Cross to "have fun", as Cross begins formulating his plan to conquer the alternate universe as his own. In the midst of a Pacifist Timeline in Underfell, Nightmare and his newly-found accomplice Cross break into the alternate universe.
